An improved selection of a popular plant, native to the southern USA, 'Little Redhead' produces dark red, tubular flowers with yellow interiors, starting in late spring and continuing to midsummer. The flowers rise above upright clumps of dark green, wedge-shaped leaves. Suitable for full sun to light shade and average to rich, well-drained soils.
