With its structural shape and bold texture, this native Milkweed stands out in the landscape. Slower growing than Common Milkweed, flowering begins in late spring, when attractive clusters of pale pink flowers appear, and continues until late summer. A major food plant for Monarch butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators. Thrives in full sun and average to poor soils. Drought tolerant.
